The Cove Phi Phi

The Cove Phi Phi is a 3-star resort on the North Coast of Koh Phi Phi, with bungalows beside Rantee Beach. The 74 m² Ocean Cliff Villa has a sea-view balcony and seating area, and the 41 m² Garden Cliff House overlooks the garden. An on-site restaurant and bar serves Thai and international dishes, with continental, American and buffet breakfast options. You can also snorkel, canoe, hike or play billiards. Scheduled complimentary boat transfers are available for check-in and check-out, and the crossing to Tonsai Pier takes about 20 minutes.

The Cove Phi Phi’s accommodation is arranged across four individual units, from compact bamboo bungalows to a larger villa and a separate cliff-side house. Both 25 m² bungalow types sleep up to two people and have air conditioning, a private bathroom and a balcony; the Garden Bamboo Bungalow faces the garden, while the Beach Bamboo Bungalow has a sea view and direct beach access.

For more space, the 74 m² Ocean Cliff Villa pairs a sea-view balcony with a desk and seating area. The 41 m² Garden Cliff House has a garden-facing balcony and a seating area. Each room type has a private bathroom, air conditioning, a refrigerator and an electric kettle, as well as a shower and bathroom essentials. The bamboo bungalows and villa have extra-large double beds, while the Garden Cliff House has a king-size bed.

Dining centres on the on-site restaurant and bar. The restaurant serves Thai and international dishes, and breakfast options include continental, American and buffet styles. WiFi is available throughout the property at no charge; parking is not available.

The resort has beachfront access and a private beach area with sun loungers or beach chairs, alongside a terrace, balconies and BBQ facilities. Snorkelling and canoeing provide ways to spend time on the water, while hiking and billiards are also available. Air conditioning is provided, and daily housekeeping is offered. The Cove Phi Phi sits on the North Coast, directly beside Rantee Beach, with the sand about 50 m away. This stretch is quieter and more secluded than the pier-side settlement, and the resort’s private beach area and on-site restaurant let you stay close to the shoreline for swimming, snorkelling and meals. Phak Nam Bay Beach is 800 m away, while Loh Moo Dee Beach is 1.2 km away. Bungalows and houses have garden- or sea-facing balconies, depending on the room.

Access is by boat from Tonsai Pier, which is about a 20-minute ride away and 2 km from the resort. The scheduled shuttle runs from the pier at 11:30, 15:30 and 16:30, with return boats at 08:00, 10:00 and 12:30. Complimentary transfers are for check-in and check-out; during your stay, scheduled boats are paid, and other taxi boats can be arranged. Reserve through reception at least 24 hours ahead. The timetable may change or be cancelled due to weather, and there is no parking.

Viewpoint 3 is 650 m away and Viewpoint 2 is 800 m away; both can be reached on foot for elevated views. Pak Nam Beach is 1 km away, while Phi Phi Market, 1.7 km away, provides a stop near the busier settlement. You can snorkel, canoe and hike through activities offered at the resort, or arrange a boat to visit other shores. With a restaurant on site, you can dine without returning to Tonsai for every meal.
